Sta Fe in Bantayan in Cebu has pristine white sand beaches. There are lots of white sand beaches in Bantayan and Sta. Fe is one of them. We got here around 9am and spend the night in Anika Beach Resort. One of the finest resort in Bantayan. We had our lunch in Anika. They offer delicious foods like Filipino, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. We had a short swim after the delicious treat. After that afternoon we went stroll around the island and visit some friends. The year was 2012.

Step-by-step
1. Cebu City → Hagnaya Port
Go to Cebu North Bus Terminal and take a Ceres bus going to Hagnaya Port.
- Travel time: about 3–5 hours
- Bus fare: roughly ₱300–₱400
- Tell the conductor: “Hagnaya Port, please.”
2. Hagnaya Port → Santa Fe
At Hagnaya Port, take the ferry to Santa Fe Port (Destination).
- Ferry crossing: about 1–1.5 hours
- Ferry operators include Island Shipping and Super Shuttle Ferry
- Ferry schedules can change, including because of tides and weather, so check the day’s sailing before traveling.
3. Santa Fe Port → your hotel
Once you arrive at Santa Fe, you can take a tricycle or habal-habal to your resort/hotel. Most tourist accommodations are only a short ride from the port.
⏰ My recommended schedule
For a comfortable trip, I would leave Cebu City around 7:00–8:00 AM. This gives you plenty of buffer for traffic and ferry waiting time. The whole journey is normally around 5–7 hours depending on connections.
